Join Open Play

All Skill Levels Welcome

Open Play is available to ALL residents. It's a drop-in format open to all skill levels, focused on friendly, social games. No court reservations or prearranged groups are required — just show up, stack your paddle, and rotate in!

PLAY SCHEDULE

Mornings
7am till Noon Daily on West Courts 19 through 30

Evenings
6pm –– 8pm Monday Wednesday and Friday on courts 9 through 12 (north side)

FORMAT AND RULES

Place paddles in rack to rotate in: Place your paddle at the end of the paddle rack when you’re ready to play. Courts fill in order as players rotate off from left to right.  NEXT UP shows which paddles are next.

Four on / four off is standard. After one game to 11 (win by 1), all four players exit and the next four enter. If fewer than four are waiting, you may play again — but rotate new players in whenever possible.

No holding courts for friends. Everyone waits and plays in the order their paddle was stacked. Mixed play is encouraged — men and women, all levels playing together. Be inclusive, patient, and welcoming.

Be a Good Partner & Opponent:

  • Rotate with different players — Open Play is about variety and community.
  • If you’re winning every game easily, consider trying a higher skill-level session.
  • If you’re consistently struggling, explore sessions better suited to your current level.
  • Keep games friendly and focused on fun — this is not tournament play.
  • Encourage, don’t criticize. Everyone is here to enjoy the game.

Play fair. Play fast. Keep things fun and competitive.
