League play gives SCHH Pickleball Club members an opportunity to participate in organized team competition, develop their skills and build connections with other players. Opportunities range from beginner-friendly internal play to competitive intercommunity leagues.

Lowcountry Pickleball League
The Lowcountry Pickleball League is an intercommunity league involving teams from Sun City Hilton Head and other communities throughout the Lowcountry. The league offers seasonal competition in:
SCHH teams are organized by team captains, and matches may be played at Sun City Hilton Head or at participating communities throughout the area.
Participation requires an active SCHH Pickleball Club membership. Players must also meet the rating, age and roster requirements established for each season. Team placement is based on roster availability and is not guaranteed.
Information about upcoming seasons, captain interest and player participation will be communicated through CourtReserve and Club announcements.

Rookie League
SCHH Rookie League is an internal instructional league designed for beginners and developing players through approximately the 2.5 level. The program introduces players to organized team play in a welcoming and supportive environment. Participants gain experience with:
The Rookie League combines friendly competition with continued player development. Volunteer coaches and experienced Club members may assist teams throughout the season.
An active SCHH Pickleball Club membership is required. Season dates, eligibility and registration information will be posted in CourtReserve.
Coming in 2027: Internal MLP-Style League
The SCHH Pickleball Club is exploring the introduction of an internal Major League Pickleball-style team league beginning in early 2027.
This intraclub league is being developed to provide members with an engaging team-based format featuring men’s, women’s and mixed doubles competition. Teams would compete against other SCHH teams in divisions based on Club Rating.
